Or, as usual, reports are sketchy, and more likely the guy shot himself or was shot (amazingly) by the police.

I hope someone who was armed shot the bad guy. It sounds like the bad guy was a poor shooter if he got off 60 rounds before he was dead! He may have shot his own nasty self.
