Thought no good communist takes stock in any religious or pseudo-religious prophecy?

Chinese are not communist. Their system is far more Capitalist than ours. Their people have zero faith or interest in Communism. Their government does NOTHING along the lines of "to each according to their needs" (they have virtually zero social programs). Even the majority of the members of the CCP do not believe that Communism is a viable economic system. (They join the Party for the business advantages.) The ruling class in the CCP cares nothing for Communism, they only care for authoritarian control.

(And the Chinese people are a bit more Christian that we know, because the majority of Christians there go to "home churches", hidden as much as possible from government observation, rather than the state-sanctioned churches. Personally, I enjoyed both, and barely noticed any differences in the services... but when TSHTF, the home churches are going to go through some persecution that Christians haven't felt in centuries.)
