My son gave me a funny wall plaque a couple of years ago for Christmas that covers just this issue. This was in response to a statement I had made earlier about my taking a trip which was only possible because I was spending his inheritence.
Ice cream is eggs, real vanilla, half and half or half milk and half cream. Beat the eggs, mix thoroughly with remaining ingredients, freeze, top with loads of hot fudge or caramel and eat. If you’re going to use anything else, please don’t call it ice cream.
