We’re about an hour and a half from Louisville and I absolutely love that town. It’s like Seattle but without the traffic, lower prices and friendly (as opposed to “polite”) people.
We really enjoy the Highlands and just discovered Mellow Mushroom on Shelbyville road this weekend. Better than Chico’s pizza in Moses Lake, Washington.
And the beer? Holy cow! Puts Seattle to shame. That was a real surprise.
Favorite places of mine include the Irish Rover and Jefferson Mall. The twin malls out on Shelbyville Road were usually too yuppie for me.
