I did like Promethius. Not my top three though.

From what I’ve watched more than any others...

5th Element and any other Bruce Willis sci fi. The man has a brilliant agent.

Dune - any of them

I burned out on Blade Runner and. Can’t watch it anymore.

Brazille

But really, trying to narrow it down to three? Impossible!

Love to watch The Thing on a hot summer day. Escape from New York later that night followed by Big Trouble in Little China.

Omega Man with the Mountain Man himself. Soylent Green.

You just have to watch them grouped by stars.

Anybody see that B movie Apollo 18 yet? Gave a feel for being stuffed in a lunar landing module like no other.

I liked Apollo 18 for the stock NASA footage and all the kit they managed to put together. The premise was interesting, but flawed. A thriller where one of the astronauts loses it (I think a moon mission all on its own could do that to a person), or nearly does, could have been cool.

Marooned was interesting, but its been decades since I last saw it.

There was another movie about an American who goes to the moon, finds the Soviets beat them, but died in the attempt, and then finds a rescue craft that had already landed ahead of them. I can never remember the name of that one, even though I’m sure I’ve caught parts of it twice.
