But I have now learned that there is also a segment of the prepper population that not only don't care, but have some type of emotional allergic response to the topic and attack anyone who mentions it.
“not only don’t care, but have some type of emotional allergic response to the topic and attack anyone who mentions it.”
No, son, we’re just realistic and don’t care to hide one itty-bitty part of ourselves as though hiding something like a radio purchase or FCC license somehow hides us from the bigger picture. We’re not children that imagine we are hiding from the world by thinking our gun and radio purchases are somehow not tracked, we know better. We know these things can easily be monitored and we choose not to fool ourselves into thinking we’re being sneaky somehow. We don’t say silly things like “lost them in a boating accident”. We dont refuse to learn ham radio because doing so might make a list. Big freeping deal. I wont go without a skill or hobby interest just to try to hide something.
So, don’t try to insult us and say we don’t care because we don’t try to hide, that’s just you trying to be cute. You might as well be a 5 year old hiding under the bed thinking mom and dad can’t find you. This isn’t a children’s game of hide-n-seek.
Those lists. Name one. Name a single list. There isnt one. If anyone generates a list to take action you wont hide from it. All kinds of information is stored about you. I wouldnt need to know of a single firearm purchase to know if you have them. There are all kinds of data points collected that tells if you do.
Stop trying to hide. Stand up and be a man. Make them fear you instead of you fearing them all the time. As my gun shop owners says, Hey, buy a 50, piss them off.
