A couple of weeks ago I was aimlessly changing channels when I came across CBS's "Vegas", a drama about the mob in Las Vegas in the early 1960's. It's a fantastic show, with a strong sense of right and wrong, and I didn't even know that the show existed.
So evidently not all of TV is either mindless reality or bland comedy. Any suggestions for other good TV dramas?
I am also told Boss is good but never saw it. It is on Starz. I don’t watch much that HBO or Showtime does for the most part in the way of shows.
Sleeper Cell was an excellent series, offering insights into some aspects of terrorism seldom highlighted. Robin Hood was really good too, combining humor and excitement in good balance. The Killing is intense, but really good. These are all on Netflix.
