If we all stood "shoulder to shoulder," we could fit the entire planet of 7 billion-plus people in Jacksonville, Fla.

But they all could live comfortably in Texas.

Want to bet? If the population of the world lived in Texas, roughly 7 billion people, each person would have approximately 1/3 of an acre.

No land would be left for agriculture or business, but the point is everybody alive would fit in that state, while the rest of the planet would be empty.
