Why should he testify?

Congress is full of greedy, self-interested traitors
who hate America and want $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
and freedom from ObamaCARE .... for themselves.

They support illegal immigrants killing Americans
and they support CHEATING in national elections.

SSDD.

Does MoveOn.org still have the original “General Betray-us” ad that we can borrow?

I doubt Congress will want to Subpoena him.

That might spoil the Whitewash that is coming.

You are right! He can and most likely will be compelled to testify via subpoena at some point.

working out a grand bargain with Obama.

[Until Obungler claims Executive Privilege.]

Sure but that can be challenged in court. To invoke executive privilege draws a lot of attention to the issue. Eric Holder always appeared when he was summoned by the House even though he perjured himself every time. Obama used executive privilege to withhold documents that might relate to political maneuvering (cover up) in Fast and Furious.

“Petreaus, who probably knows the full story, is returning to civilian life, but what leverage does Obama have on him?”

Probably the “or else” part you mentioned.

Of course they have the power. The question is do they want to use it.
Bonehead and Cantor want to move on to working out a grand bargain
with Obama. So what if a few Americans got murdered.

If it was Petraeus that leaked the emails, why didn’t he leak enough to really hang Obama before the election? I would think the CIA has the ultimate access to everything. If this had been a Republican president, we would have seen the drone video weeks ago.
