Daniel Craig has come forward to insist there will never be a gay James Bond - because 007 is not gay. The actor, who takes on the role of the suave British agent in the latest installment Skyfall, was forced to comment after the chemistry between him and Javier Bardem's character Raoul Silva sparked speculation about Bond's sexuality. The scene in question sees a flirtatious Raoul caress Bond's legs and chest as the spy sits tied up in a chair, with 007 ending the scene by asking his foe: 'What makes you think this is my first time?'

That would kill the series in an instant.
It’s Bond. Jane Bond.
Yes Javier's character is a creepy metro-multi-sexual perv, but Bond is not gay ... at least not yet.
As casting agents get more adventurous/stupid and our culture sinks slowly into the cesspool Bond will be black, hispanic, female, gay, lesbian, transgendered, extraterrestrial, etc.
I saw this movie last night. My first thoughts were to Free Republic Bond fans when I sat through that scene :-). It’s a quip, nothing more, in my opinion. The scene is a bit ridiculous to say the least, but it was a frigging good comeback and put an end to that nonsense :-).
Overall, I found the movie to be a big disappointment. I had higher hopes. It had some neat scenes, but overall it was very mediocre at best.
Finally, if that new Q makes it into the next film, I’ll vomit. He is frigging terrible. The guy has to be a know-it-all, more senior person than Bond ... not some sniveling, snot-nosed, passive aggressive punk :-). Now M on the other hand ;-) ...
“Brownfinger”
so, he’s a racist eh? /sarc
“There’s been talk of Blofeld and OddJob combining forces, to be know as...
My favorite Bond Girl is Roger Moore
I myself am waiting for the space alien James Bond. (Though there could be an illegal alien James Bond before that, given the empty-headedness that seems to be alive and well in Hollybood.)
Craig mused a few years ago that Bond might, or should kiss a man or something, that is what feeds this, it was not long after Craig expressed discomfort with guns.
Not true, this was proven to be false. He was talking about a movie about Truman Capote not Bond.
Craig expressed discomfort with guns. -Not true that was Roger Moore not Daniel Craig.
Why do you think they called him "Blofeld"?
If you’ve gotta deny it publicly, somewhere at some story meeting, the issue must’ve come up.
Oddfeld?
M got a sex change.
