Note that FDR "inherited" a severe recession from President Hoover and proceeded to turn it into a decade long "Great Depression" with socialist policies. And now, nearly a century later, the left is still blaming it on Hoover.

Obama is simply repeating this action. Fortunately we now have a two term limit. The left will undoubtedly attempt to blame the "Great Recession" on Bush.

No, even they are not stupid enough to continue blaming it on Bush. The mechanisms and talking points are already in place for blaming it on the Republican Congress every time
the Party in Power pretends to be “reaching across the aisle” and meets a recalcitrant and obstructionist band of Pubbies who “won’t work with them”. Of course the reasons for not wanting to work with the Dems will be lied about, spun, and otherwise obfuscated. We should all expect this
from the MSM not to mention the likes of Chris Matthews, MSNBC, CNN, etc. etc.

"The left will undoubtedly attempt to blame the “Great Recession” on Bush."

And why doesn’t President Bush fight back? He should go on a country wide speaking tour and defend his policies, defending conservative principals and attacking President Obama in every way possible.

But why doesn’t he? Through President Bush's silence he plead guilty to all the charges against him!
