If youre a conservative, this story could be too painful for you to read. I suggest you click away now.
For those who have stayed, below are pictures of Mitt Romneys transition website that would have gone live had he been elected president on Tuesday. So how are you seeing it today? Well, the site accidentally went live for a brief moment on Wednesday, and because this is the internet, someone was able to grab screenshots before it was taken down.
That someone is Roll Calls Taegan Goddard. Below are the pictures he nabbed, which has a statement from President-Elect Romney and even inauguration day:
Im excited about our prospects as a nation. My priority is putting people back to work in America, the quote from Romney says on the first page.
Its a priority hell have to now pursue outside the Oval Office.
Very sad.
Too bad. America chose the incompetent, divisive demagogue instead.
Someone on the inside leaked this it just didn’t accidently be released.
It makes me angry.
Such a wasted opportunity.
Shows a picture of the path not taken and I dread what is to come. These fools who voted for Obama or worse, the people who decided not to show up and vote for Mitt will be screaming the loudest four years from now.
We are in for a very difficult period in our personal lives as America comes to a close from what she once was.
If The Electoral College made Hussein prove he was eligible for the office, instead of being just a rubber stamp; or
Make the states, especially the swing states, audit and prove their vote totals.
As I said, very , very long shots, but since Tuesday I have woken up each morning praying that this is all just a bad dream and then realized that the nightmare has not even begun!
Just when I thought I came to terms, this pops up.
Now I’m depressed all over again. It’s like a sick joke. I hope all of the leftists are happy when the country is an ash heap.
Feels like a punch in the stomach.
That’s what make me so sad. I think we lost the opportunity to have not just a good President but a great one.
And to you “True Patriots” and “Warriors” that stayed home in protest of Romney: GO FU*K YOURSELVES!
You know that moment when you’re sleeping and just about to wake up, you haven’t opened your eyes yet to face the world? During that time your subconscious either gives you a feeling or a word or something, sometimes it’s silent?
This morning when I was in that stage, the words that came were “Romney is not the President”. I started bawling.
I’m bawling again now after seeing his transition site.
I want a Miracle. Some recount or something that would put Romney in OUR White House on Jan 22.
Whoever leaked that site, although it hurts very much seeing it, Thank you.
I agree with you on that sentiment. I also think both sides knew Romney was going to win in the final 72 hours. Something about the voter turn out totals is JUST NOT RIGHT.....not right at all.
Paging James O Keefe and Hannah Giles. Suit up folks, in whatever disguise you need, you’re going in.....
Agreed. I can’t go anywhere the past few days without looking around and realizing that half the people I see are Obama voters. Over half, I live in Illinois. Haven’t listened to talk radio or watched tv except for non-political stuff. Definitely none of the lib stuff like late night comedians. It’s not fun and games entertainment. It’s my children’s future and my country.
actually this put a smile on my face. we were so close but does this mean we give up? of course not. the next four years give us ample opportunity to put forth principals and ideals to transform this country for generations to come. it starts with me and you. very few things worth fighting for are achieved on the first try.
Still, if 3 million stayed home (for any reason)...pfft!
They won't know or care. They will no more consider the ruin they're making of our country an ash heap than the Nazis disliked what they turned Germany into. What we will consider an ash heap--poverty, misery, cultural corruption, depravity, ignorance, the loss of our history and heritage, domination by China and/or Islamists--they will think is just fine. As bad as things get, they'll blame Bush. They will never take responsibility and realize that it's their philosophies and weakness and sin that produced a horror.
I wonder what happens if they finish all the vote counting and find Romney won states they called for Obama....would they change the outcome of the election, if Romney ended up taking OH, FL and other states and got to the 270 EV?
Or is that wishful (unicorn and rainbows) thinking?
Then if not, I ask, why bother finished the vote count, since it’s already been called and will stay a done deal no matter what?
Just curious if anyone knows exactly what happens...
I'm going to take Mark Levin's advice, and use this Thanks Giving to 1. Give Thanks to God, and 2. take a break and recharge my batteries. I think we're all burned out.
Imagine how sad Mitt and Ann are.
What could have been. I believe Romney/Ryan could have gotten us back on course, but I guess many on our side decided to wait for the perfect candidate, a conservative messiah.
Way more than 3 million are missing....stayed home, stolen, whatever. In 08 total turn out was 130 million. This year, they expected 138 million. About 120 million so far, and another million or so will trickle in.
Where are the other 17 m votes?
If they don't fire the pollsters, they were just blowing smoke up the arse of donors.
Jesus wouldn’t pass the test for the perfect candidate.
I'm really battling trying not to be cynical at present. These pictures of Romney (with his flaws), make me both sad and pi$$ed at the same time. Rush had one of these “True Patriot” idiots call into his show today trying as hard as he could to rationalize his dumba$$ decision not to vote for Mitt. These idiots always give us their standard crap: “Hey, they're both the same...” WTF!
I concur with regard to the idiots that did not show up to vote for Romney. The voters for the Marxist are on the tax payer dole. Money for them will run out, and they will riot like those in Greece.
We must continue to fight evil.
Keep praying.
My county went democrat for the first time in 63 years. I'm totally against voting machines. I got no receipt, no proof of my vote.
All of a sudden, all the swing states go to the Marxist, from votes cast in the inner cities. I'll wager those votes were cast on electronic machines, with no paper trail, and of course, NO VOTER I.D. required.
Indeed. Did 'something' happen to Republican ballots that were cast early? Were voting machines front-loaded with extra votes for Democrats? Then you see the heavy turnout all across the Nation...where are these votes?
Electronic machines, with NO PAPER TRAIL.
Not according to the 21st Century Puritans who didn't vote for Romney because he was a Mormon . . . or a RINO . . . or because he was the weakest candidate the GOP could field. I guess they showed us by staying home, huh. Boy, did they ever teach us a lesson by helping to give us Obama for four more years. They are so much wiser than us, I guess.
IMHO, Yes, and Yes.
In my voting place, there were only black election workers. No receipt for my vote. No paper trail.
My county went democrat for the first time in 3 years, with any demographic change.

They are idiots and morons. Whoever stayed home is as bad as everyone who voted for obama.
In some cases perhaps there were not even any voters. Where there are absolutely no Republican election judges, what's to stop the all-dem election judges from clearing and voting the electronic cards over and over for people on the voter rolls that they know aren't coming to vote. Often the totals from the inner city dem strongholds come in last, as if they wait to see what is needed to get the majority. Starting the machines above zero for ZerO is another possibility.
Agreed. Those who stayed home are equally to blame for this mess.
So very sad.
The difference between what would have been and what will be is so great I wonder if that distace will ever be spanned in the future. I fear America has missed the last exit ramp on the road to serfdom.
Its so funny - just yesterday some stupid liberal B%^& on my facebook page was wondering about the 300 point drop in the market.
I told her that she lost more in her IRA alone yesterday than the value and cost of 4 years of birth controlled combined as a result of her vote in one day and she was left speechless.
That is what we are dealing with here.
Electronic machines are tested and tuned by local governments before every election. Ours also have no paper receipt. I don’t like them or trust them.
Heck, they’re made in Venezuela.
Agree with all the sentiment here. We saw that the EV was way down from 2008, which told us this election was very winnable. Where the hell were the missing few million?
Although we don’t get an actual paper copy, we are able to see (through a plastic window) the printed results of our choices. Mine were accurate. But then again, I live in Utah. ;-)
I’m really getting tired of it, election after election. Pretty soon, I’m going to be fed up and when I am, I’m going to start voting for every tax increase, every gun grabbing law out there. I ain’t there yet, but I’m getting fed up.
Where do you live?
In a small town, in Mississippi.
“It’s not the people who vote that count. It’s the people who count the votes.” (Josef Stalin)- I’m sure Hussein 0bama is well aware of this and has taken step to ensure Romney, under no circumstances, finishes ahead.
Wasn’t there something about a foreign firm being hired to count the votes?
Something is just not right. Normally I can bop in, vote, and be out in five minutes. This time I waited in line for an hour and a half. One of the poll workers told me the line was wrapped around the building half an hour before they opened at 6 a.m., and there was no let-up nor break all day. And I’m supposed to believe more people turned out for McCain??
I've been wondering the same thing. Since he (Mitt) conceded, would it matter?
This website "leak" is so sad. I'm like others, I wake up through out the night thinking it's all a terrible nightmare....and it is =(
I hadn’t heard about a foreign firm counting the votes, though it could be the case, but the UN was suppose to monitor the election. I ‘d heard at least two states threatened them with arrest. The UN Observer scenario has the stench of 0bama all over it.
I agree with you...something is not right.
How can massive turn outs in DC over 0Care, the 2010 elections, the Chic Fil A Day and the longer than any in recent history voting lines (by non-0phone people) suddenly diminish for THE most important election of our lifetime?
