Heartless is the description Rick Perry painted me with during one of the early debates as he spoke of the children of illegal immigrants.
But with regard to Murdoch and Aiken, I think future republicans, if any..., are going to have to keep those views to themselves. I understand that they are heartfelt and sincere, and I also agree that God gives souls to babies, however, there isn’t going to be any changing of those laws, women aren’t going to be forced to bear the children of their rapists regardless of the innocence of the baby, and there really is no point in discussing that unless they intend to throw the election in huge fashion.
Ah, then label me “heartless” as well. The illegal immigration issue was just about the only serious problem that I had with my governor, but it was a deal breaker for me. On other issues, he was mostly sterling.
