I bought a Toyota Yaris over 6 years ago. I know. She was made in California. Not sure if union made or not.

My father worked for GM for most of his life. My first new car (when I was in my mid-30s) was a GM. I wouldn't buy from this company anymore for any reason. I would have to be coerced, and it would have to involve a threat on my life or someone else’s. Really.

I feel very, very strongly that we've become a country of ‘if it's good for me, I don't care about you’, and that the unions personify this to the utmost. They have no problem selling the rest of us down the river, and will use the power of the vote to do so. Why would anyone in their right mind want to support the salaries of people who would do this?
