We’ve already had Carter’s second term. This is Carter’s third term.

You lost count. This is Carter’s third term.

If Carter had had a second term there would have been nothing left for Obama to destroy.

As I said, second terms have been hostorically awful for Presidents. Wilson, FDR, Truman, Ike, Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, and GW Bush

No we’re not. This is going to be much, much worse. Remember that Carter, as dopey as he was, actually deregulated industry and cut taxes. He was headed in the right direction on some things. And as preachy as he was, he was a Christian. We ain’t got none of that with Obama.

Weve already had Carters second term. This is Carters third term. Precisely. The only important difference being that the contempt that Osama Obama has for this country eclipses Carter's by a factor of ten.

Benign, compared to what is going to happen with Obama.
Carter was into sweaters and thermostat controls. Obama wants to rule the world and intends to conduct the clinical trials on us.

I am sure Bohner wil soon say that its laughable for Obama to think he will work with him.
Rather than try and take the GOP we should have built a 3rd party.
Oh well ,so sad too bad.

Nope. It will be worse, much, much worse.

I agree. Carter was far moderate than what we’ve seen the past four years. I personally think the more apt comparison here is Mike Dukakis. Far left, imperious and cold, ideologically rigid. I’ve no doubt that a Dukakis win in 88 would have looked an awful lot like the past four years.
Goodness help us all.

Yep. If they’re willing to swap Obama out for Jimmy Carter at this point, I’m game.
