1. Changing U.S. demographics and more dependent people who see government as the answer.

2. White women. For sociological reasons some white women were less concerned about the economy and more focused on personal rights, etc.

3. Media bias - no coverage of the Obama miscues. Media in general became outright advocates of Obama.

4. Sandy-the storm. Presidents do very little but tie up traffic in the aftermath of a storm. The media gave Obama a 4-5 day bump in the polls.

5. Chris Christie-and his "man-love" moment with Obama. The bellicose Governor seemed confused and petulant when confronted with his going way-to-far performance as a lap dog to Obama.

6. Candy Crowley - in the third debate for making the wrong call on the President's remarks when the President looked like a deer in headlights. Obama was rescued by Crowley.

7. Romney campaign for not building a better ground game in Ohio and in other swing states.

8. Chief Justice John Roberts. His chosen moment in history became the death knell for those opposed to ObamaCare. The remaining firewall became the election.

9. The Obama campaign for scaring people more effectively than Romney. Romney ran on more positives than Obama.

10. Us. The Romney supporters could we have done more?

Good top ten. Suggest #11, the masterful "Vote for revenge." Our own pundits were flummoxed and could not even understand the message asking, "Revenge for what?" But for the left and all of those who are victims in their own delusional minds that they all deserve to be gods and goddesses with unlimited money, etc. Revenge is sweet, revenge is good, revenge is pay back large.

The white rich Presidential-looking Romney and his Father Knows Best family, ultra-wholesome, ultra successful etc. said "I vote for love my country." His 'vote for Country', could not resonate with our majority victim class like good old 'revenge.'

I thought about starting a vanity thread, but you've saved me the trouble.

1. Demographics played a big part in this election. What worries me is that the future trend will continue to stack the odds even more against us.

3. MSM bias is huge! Not only in how & what they choose to report, but sometimes more importantly, what they don't report. We need to realize that there are still a lot of voters who get their info from print newspapers & magazines, network & cable news, and late-night comedy/talk shows - all with mostly one thing in common ... they're all liberal! Benghazi, Fast & Furious, green energy scams, etc.? The average person on the street has never heard about any of these, but they do vote.

To your list, I'd only add the vote fraud, early voting, &/or voter ID (possibly all one and the same). Problem is, this won't change with a Democrat Senate blocking any attempts to correct it on a national level. And with Obama getting another 4 more years to pick judges, including possibly on the SCOTUS, any state-level legislation to end early voting or implement voter ID will be overturned at the court level. And with tin-foil hat firmly in place, I have my doubts about the electronic voting machines either over-counting Obama's votes or under-counting Romney's.

Sadly, I've been saying for decades that Reagan didn't win the Cold War. He may have won the Cold Battle, but the communists have won the War.
