There is a huge difference between “not liking” and “disliking.” “Not liking” is passive and unemotional, and simply means that you neither like nor dislike someone or something; i.e., indifference. “Disliking,” on the other hand, is active, and means you intentionally choose a position that expresses disfavor towards somneone or something.

Lets just agree to disagree. I have a number of people in my work life I dislike intensely...but they do not get any different treatment and would be quite surprised to know it.
