This is exactly how I felt and saw last nights victory. We are the new minority. How can your party ever get in office when you promise free condoms, free phones, job numbers that change day after a debate, vote for me and you get citizenship, rigged voting machines etc. We are like you said the new minority.
Next week, I will withdraw my registration as a republican.
Civil War 2 is here, and I predict IT WILL HAPPEN.
According to the Media, you are just an “Angry, old, racist white guy!”, who can be ignored. Racheal Madcow said so, last night. It’s now the accepted truth.
It won’t matter anyway, you’ll be dead soon, and the New Socialist-run America will chug along without you.
As long as the EBT Cards still work, the sheep will continue to bleet.
Nothing left to do now but to bleed the system, get on the Govt dole if you can and suck it dry. Assimilate. Accept that you are under government control and try to keep the flame of liberty alive until we have our chance again.
I am DONE with the GOP.
I’m not sure I totally buy into this.
Obama’s vote tally was 15% lower than 2008...pending Florida totals of course.
In fact, Barry underperformed compared to Bush 2004....even though the population has grown.
There isn’t a new majority out there....the GOP just stayed home. I didn’t think people would stay home....I bought into the ‘Anybody but Obama’ theory. But, it didn’t work anymore than ‘Anyone but Bush’ worked for Kerry.
We need a better candidate. Thats all.
Clovis-Piven in reverse
GOP should push to nationalize the entire Insurance Industry in the name of the States (the states become owners, not the Feds). Health and P&C, anything but life insurance.
Reverse the 17th amendment and let States choose how they select Senators.
Campaign finance reform. Politicians become responsible for illegal contributions, no more “I didn’t know”. No out of State campaign contributions for State officials — including Senators and Congressmen.
Any entity receiving Federal Dollars in forms of Aide, Grants, or subsidies cannot make campaign contributions at all and cannot participate in political action committees.
If conservatives leave the Republican Party and become “invisible,” how would it be possible to have a national organization to compete with the Democrats? By the way, losing Tea Party candidates cost us control of the U.S. Senate.
In other words, the Ron Paul movement never got above 10%, and Ross Perot never got over 20%, so how would an invisible organization be able to do better?
