Nope, we failed for the same reason that the North didn’t knock the South out of the war early on.

Reagan couldn’t even get elected these days to his old Gov job in California.
That isn’t an insult to Reagan, it is just how bad those voting are today and IMO you vastly under estimate the power of the government party giving away the treasury through government employment or the dole to tens of millions of people.
I am a realist. Just the facts. I am not blind to what I see has unfolded before me during my last five decades I’ve been voting through (thank you very much)
So much has changed and we also have the wave of people from the south that all also believe in a government party.
