The United States of Ronald Reagan is gone, now lost forever.

Four more years of Obama’s abysmal rule will render the nation unrecognizable, even when just compared with what it is today.

The Democrats have, in effect, purchased the government with tax money given to prospective voter blocks in exchange for votes from Americans with their hands out.

It’s ironic that JFK, a Democrat, famously said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”

The only thing that anyone asks of himself and what he can do for his country anymore is hold out his hand for a big, fat government check rendered in exchange for his vote and paid for with funds furnished by hardworking people.

We are now well on the way to creating of this nation a Third-World, Africa-style, Marxist sh*t hole.

Am I the only one giving way to black despair and rock bottom depression right now?

No you are not. I was posting about Reagan’s first victory earlier. It was the first presidential election I voted in, and I voted opposite my parents, and I was delighted in the outcome.

That was a long time ago. I don’t know if you believe in God, but if you do, know that He is in charge. My prayer group has prayed for a year for the outcome of this election, specifically and powerfully.

Not all prayers are answered the way we would like.

Sometimes I ask myself why am I still working, 38 years and counting.

I've seen these freeloaders and their lifestyle doesn't seem too bad except they are not worn out from physical labor and stress like I am.

Really, maybe I should get on the gravy train too.

Rent me a shack down south, cash my check, grab a bottle and go fishin', doesn't sound like a bad way to spend my next 20 years or so.

It is a sad night for the country but unfortunately there are tens of millions of braindeads who bought into Hope and Change and still believe in it. I saw ABC’s election coverage and they showed a bunch of young Obama supporters, mostly college kids, cheering their heads off. I saw that and thought don’t these dolts know that they’re the ones who will be paying off this massive debt we’ve accumulated? Unfortunately, we’re no longer a country of strivers and achievers. We’ve turned into a country of freeloaders and moochers. The rest of the world is licking its chops and ready to feast on the carcass of the once proud and strong United States.

Reagan democrats were mostly blue-collar WWII generation /slightly younger folks who had seen the left-turn their party was taking on social/other issues from the 1960's-on...and sided with a more traditional past.

It will never again be repeated...hollywood/academia has seen to that.

Then again, on immigration/spending issues he(Reagan) was not the saint many have made him out to be...more than likely because he had to deal with increasingly more progressive democratic congress critters in order to gain bargaining positions.
