Thanks noiseman, apology accepted!

I agree, this was a devastating loss.

But I don’t think we can blame Christie or even the “blue” states.

I expected O to win NY, NJ, etc. It is VA, and OH, etc that upset me.

TRUTH: I’m selling my (measly) mutual funds tomorrow. I needed the money but I might have held on if R pulled it out.

I agree that there was far more going on than what Christie did. There was a clear age divide - 45 on up voted for Romney, 18-44 voted for Obama. That’s a ratio that will only tip farther in the libs’ favor as the responsible half of America ages and passes on.

I have thought for a long time that the front line in this war is the education system. The only chance is to work on the next generation or two and hopefully turn out more responsible and informed citizens. Unfortunately, Democrats have turned schools into liberal indoctrination factories. We absolutely have to continue efforts to take the fight to the schools because once they turn out newly-minted zombies, we have lost them for another generation.
