I live in New Jersey, and yes, Christie did go overboard with his praise of Obama. But, seriously, if all that was needed was a hug by a fat guy to get voters to overlook four years of awful economic news, serious scandals, ineffectual foreign policy and all the other wonderful things we know and love about Barack hussein Obama, then we were already very close to becoming Greece. Now we are there.

Of course Christie slobbering over Obama did not affect my vote or your
Vote. But it probably turned a few percent of independents in the final days.

Just happened to be the Storm, not Bengazi.

I think it was much more than Christie. I think the fear of the hurricane dropped much of the opposition to big government. People wanted a government that would protect them when they are down because they are not even thinking of becoming successful after they’ve just lost everything.
It’s the same feeling after the 2008 crash.
