Walked in the NE Mississippi voting area at 7am. I was the first to vote in the precinct. My machine malfunctioned and I had to vote using another machine. Was out in ten minutes. There were 20-30 people behind me and several driving in as I left.

San Jose, short wait, all booths occupied. They said with the exception of a 45 minute break it’s busy all day.

Here in a red enclave in the People’s Republic of Maryland, I have never seen such lines. Normally, it’s walk up to the desk manned by 3 or 4 ladies. Today, it was a 5 minute line to get to the table of 8 ladies, and then wait in the voting line for 20 to 25 minutes.
Of course we have some hot ballot referenda, including homosexual marriage, gambling, etc. that are no doubt getting people motivated, too.
I am no fan of Romney, but had to pull the lever as the lesser of the evils.
