I used to think that people were either full of crap, doing something wrong, or just straight up lying to cause trouble when they complained of this, but it just happened to me!!!
I went to vote this afternoon. Our precinct uses the touch screen computerized voting systems. I touched the box for Romney/Ryan, and an 'X' appeared on the 0bama/Biden box, as if I had voted for them. I was just sitting there dumbfounded for a second, and eventually contacted a poll worker. She told me how to undo it, and I eventually voted for Romney/Ryan as I intended(I hope), but it was a scary/revealing moment for me to say the least!
Amazing how all these reports say that their Romney vote magically switches to hussein rather than the other way around. Just another coincidence. Move along. Nothng to see.
PLEASE contact CNN and tell them. They are pushing a phony narrative that the broken machines are ALL showing Romney incorrrectly!
Does the “coat sleeve syndrome” of Madam’s sound reasonable?
I was given a long pencil and told to use the eraser end. Iguess that is why (or to keep fingernails from destroying the screen which is what I thought at the time).
That’s the way we do it here in Hawaii too. Incidently; Hawaii, which is basically a one-party state under the control of the DIMS, requires picture ID to vote.
Yes, but people are notorious at making counting errors. Remember all the “recounts” in Florida in 2000? Every time they counted, they came up with different numbers than the previous ones.
Incorrect. The other side has a video showing the vote switching to Romney. We need a video of our own to balance it out.
This was a missed opportunity.
Your saga is why I chose to do paper this time! Here in IL I had the choice and figured I didn’t want to add any unnecessary frustration to the day ~
I will be so glad when this nightmare is over, and God willing we have a new president.
Hard as it is to believe, New York State's elections have always been relatively scandal-free. Didn't matter. Our beloved mechanical-lever machines had to go.
I will say that, computerized as we are now, at least they went with the optical scanners instead of the dreaded touch-screen.
