As I said, it’s a rumor. But the implication was that it’s all water damage from the surge flood.
I have no doubt that it is water damage from the super high tide flood surge. we have had super high tide floods in my county as well as a hundred year storm and numerous other floods. The damage reported by the press is always worse than reality. I don’t mean exactly worse over all, just more limited. For example, two weeks after we moved to WA, a month before the 100 year storm, the town that we moved to was flooded. Everyone were calling us to find out how we made out. We weren’t anywhere near the flooding, but the national news made it seem like the whole town was under water. No disaster is ever as bad as the press makes it out to be.
