The relief effort in these areas has been a joke, I been to the South Shore of Long Island almost every day since the hurricane, very little has been done and still no power for another 2 weeks or so, gasoline lines are ridulous and power is still out for 300,000 on Long Island.
I just heard from a friend who works for a business in Oceanside. The rumor going around now is, no electricity in the area for at least 5 weeks because of substation damage.
