Like the title says, I get a "You are not authorized to view this page" message when I search for titles. Key word search works as expected. Anyone else?
Please check this out. Thank you.

Why didn’t you search for them before posting it again?
I can’t speak for Jim Rob but it appears that they just wanted to get things working again and those features will take some extra tweaking to get back. Probably not a good time to mess with the servers for the next few days while they are working and under a high demand.
go to your favorite search engine and enter the title of the thread and add “site:freerepublic.com” to the end. Easy enough workaround.
I’d rather temporarily lose the thread search capability for a while than have FR crash tonight because of it.
Thank you! Couldn’t agree more. Not today can I bear the risk of pillow fluffing distracting from the battle at hand.
Good idea.
This will do title search on fR for the past week thru Google.
Substitute your search term for %s and paste to your address bar.
I use Google to search by entering the search terms and site limiter in the Google searchbox (omit the “”):
“type general search terms site:freerepublic.com”
The above would search for ‘type’ and ‘general’ and ‘search’ and ‘terms’ on freerepublic.com
Use this:
http://www.google.co.uk/advanced_search
put in your search terms and fr for the site, if it’s an article you commented on - put your nickname in too to pinpoint the article

LOL! Good one.
I was starting to wonder if anyone got the joke...
LMAO!!
I have never felt that the search function at FR was any good, reasonably easy to use. I think it is an area that could be significantly improved. Just my opinion.
