I thought Caprica was the prequel to BG. Is this a prequel to that prequel or a post prequel prequel. I’m confused.

This would be a post-prequel, IOW it picks up sometime after Caprica. In the new series Bill Adama is serving on the brand-new Galactica early in his career.

I thinks it’s set during the first Cylon War, before the Peace Treaty. Adama is a young LT pilot.
