I'm anticipating a rout next Tuesday. So permit me to think about a Romney Dream Team Cabinet. You can add your own. I'm sure in a Romney WH everything is on the table. I look forward to getting rid of gov't waste. Hopefully the following people as secretaries will transition these depts into something that promotes success, productivity, the pursuit of happiness etc.
Dept of Energy (if deemed to still be needed) Sarah Palin Dept of Education (same a above) Newt Guingrich Dept of Commerce Herman Cain Attorney General Rudy Guliani Secretary of State Condi Rice Dept of Defense General Petreus (I'll give him another chance)
He is, but he’s also very tough on crime. He wouldn’t be making policy, so that’s a consolation. I like the way he speechifies though.
I want him to create a Cabinet Position called Department of Reality, and I want Victor Davis Hanson to be the Secretary of Reality.

Well we can put the liberal Republicans in places where they might do some good.
Condi Rice for UN Ambassador.
Rudy for Sec of State - he is tough and understands the WOT.
No to Jeb Bush anywhere, except perhaps an ambassadorship.
I love the idea of Sarah for Sec of Interior or Energy.
How about Newt to head the re-vamping of the EPA?
Hermon Cain for Sec of Commerce?
I’d put Newt in charge of Gov’t Innovation and Ron Paul in charge of Gov’t Elimination. When they both got to 1 Trillion, I’d have a meeting and see how we could get to a trillion more.

Palin would never take a cabinet post. It would be low profile and she could not make money at it.
She will fade into obscurity.

John Bolton’s like an attack dog - good for siccing on a target (like the UN), but he doesn’t strike me as having the right temperament for Secretary of State.
As opposed to whom? Hillary? Madeline Albright? I’mm all for turning loose a pit bull into the bowels of Foggy Bottom!
We could use a Sec of State that will stand up for America and not make excuses like Hillary and Obama seem to do so well. John Bolton would take names... expect cooperation...and in the words of Geo. W. Bush... you are either with us or against us... a new day is going to dawn at the State Department and John Bolton is just the buy to raise the blinds and let the sun shine in !!!

I realize this is the ‘dream team’ thread, but is anyone expecting a GOP majority Senate? All these positions will have to be confirmed. I’ll be surprised if Romney doesn’t pick at least one Democrat for his cabinet.
Palin has recently donated $5000 to The Romney campaign.
