Today at breakfast one of my family who watches shows, such as, "Kelly & Michael", "The View", "The Talk", "Rachel Ray" and "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo", said to me, "I'm not real sure of Romney. He seems kind of weird. I didn't like the way HE GIGGLED DURING THE DEBATE." I told her, "That was Joe Biden." and she exclaimed, "It Was?"
i hope you told her to please stay home
Tell her not to forget to vote on Wednesday.
It takes a lot of effort and time to pay attention or an obsessive addiction to reading the news.
At least she watched the debate. Not like those people who were interviewed on the street before Debate 2 and claimed they already had watched it.
Shakespeare cannot hold a candle to such a tragic statement.
I wonder just how many Romney voters the MSM has convinced to just not vote. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I visited my elderly mother who gets all her news from ABC/CBS/NBC and the local newspapers. She was sitting with a couple of her friends, I knew they they all disliked Obama so I asked if the had voted yet. One of them said “What’s the point? the news says Obama has already won the election in early voting.” The rest nodded in agreement. I explained to them that Obama was actually doing awful in early voting compared to 2008, they were amazed. But this is the crap we have to work around....
Tell them there’s a Honey Boo Boo marathon on TV Tuesday!! That should keep them home :)

Oh please. Is there a possibility Obama will win? Yes of course.
But I for one have faith that Romney is going to win and by a healthy margin. Have faith people. In the end it is all about turn out.
Also do not watch anything on the results until after you vote.
And to hell with the polls.
You poor thing. Thankfully, no one in our gene pool is that shallow
And these are the caliber of people who are supposed to pay off TRILLIONS of dollars of debt run up by our corrupt politicians. There is no way this can happen. They can’t even pay off their student loans.
I didn’t mean that we are screwed as per this election. What I meant was that half of the country is clueless. As A. Lincoln said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
On the news this morning they were talking about the gas rationing in NJ. Some guy on camera said “I don’t even what this even and odd number stuff is”.
Just tell her that in deference to sharia law, women vote Wednesday
Point well taken. Sorry.
I think that can cut both ways. Most Obama voters think he wins this handily. That could demotivate some on their side.
“We’re so screwed.”
I understand exactly what you mean. Ten Democrats I’ve been answering questions for over the months and who told me they were voting for Romney, early voted last week. They voted straight ticket Democrat. They said they didn’t know how to split the ticket to vote Romney and for the Republican in the US Representative race when they got into the voting booth because they have always voted straight ticket.
It’s pretty clear that the Democratic Party is a saprophyte living off the brains of low information voters.
Without further info, I rather doubt this. Probably watched something like Comedy Central and assumed VP Biden was the Republican based upon PREjudice (def: opinion formed beforehand: a preformed opinion, usually an unfavorable one, based on insufficient knowledge, irrational feelings, or inaccurate stereotypes). We tend to forget how our youth today are swimming in a liberal progressive ocean. Education, media, entertainment all incline them to the left.
A real world example of how this concept can be carried further into politics and elections is the Argentina Government's decision to lower the voting age to 16. Here in the US, there is an activist movement called National Youth Rights Association that calls for similar moves here. I have no doubt as to their political inclinations and funding. FYI they also advocate for lower drinking and curfews.
