My Model 29 is my Favorite Gun, bury it with me favorite.

Perfect fit for my hand, the way it goes boom and there is something cosmic about a Six Shot Revolver. I can't explain it, but it is the very last thing I would ever sell.

The Dog and the Wife are #2 and #3, but I'm not sure about the ranking. It changes daily.

I have had a bunch of N frame Smiths. The most accurate one was probably an 8 3/8s inch barrel model 27. I bought it used but like new in 1982.

Probably my favorite one was a six inch model 29 which my dealer got in a batch of guns he bought from the sheriff’s dept. It had a broken rear sight and I got it for a song. I got it repaired at a gun show. The guy asked if he could use the concrete floor as an anvil and I told him to go ahead. That one was a sweetheart.

I also had a model 25 which I got around 1970. It came with the wood box and the cleaning gear. Actually of the maybe 25 I have owned, none was a lemon. Every single one had perfect range and the cylinder gap was usually around 2 thousandths.

Also had a .41 mag which probably would have been my favorite if .41 ammo was more popular.
