Are they all female cats?

I had a tortoiseshell cat who adored certain kinds of classical music involving wind and violin insturments.

After observing her hehavior I investigated and discovered that some instruments create high-pitched sounds similiar to those of a kitten’s distress calls.

Piccolo and violin solos were her favorites. Tina would sit on the back of my chair, face turned intently towards the radio, listening. As soon as the piece finished, she would get down and go about her cat business.

I had a cat who would attack the speakers if she heard Axl Rose’s voice. “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” particularly set her off.
