We are in our Cleanup Season and this year we will bypass the composting as age is taking it’s toll on both of us. I pulled the cornstalks and will let nature take care of them while my wife pulled a large bed of Statice and mulched a flower bed with them. I will plant a cover crop in the beds that the deer can’t get to. I have never had Garlic be this far along for this time of the year and I am going to take the row cover off and put down the bird netting to keep the Skunks from digging in the rice hull mulch as the Remay is not garlic friendly at this stage.
