I am prepared , but the gas situation beyond my control. Some of the posts on this site are downright stupid
When a hurricane comes through Texas, there is no gas for a number of days and when there is no gas, food trucks won’t come until there is gas so they can refuel.
We know this, so we have enough provisions at home to get through this period. No one goes to work because work places are also shut down. The area is dead until power comes back - when it comes back, gas trucks come to service stations, gas can be pumped, then food trucks come back.
We know when power fails, everything fails.
People forget that if you live in an apartment building (because you can’t afford a single-family house) you can’t use a generator indoors.
Let’s have some compassion, folks. Not everybody damaged by this disaster is a liberal. Some Freepers were caught in it, too. A lot of us can hunt, raise our own food, etc., but the sick and elderly can’t.
