Obama - I’ve said over the last couple of months since this happened, the minute I found out what was happening, I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to. Number two, we’re going to investigate exactly what happened so that it doesn’t happen again. Number three, find out who did this so we can bring them to justice. And I guarantee you that everyone in the state department, our military, the CIA, you name it, had number one priority making sure that people were safe.

Sirchtruth - Mr. President, why didn't you follow up on your first directive during the embassy attack?

Sirchtruth - Mr President when was the "Minute" you found out our embassy in Benghazi was under siege and who did you give YOUR "directives" too?

Observation: So for what I assume was 7 hours after Obama "supposedly" issued these "Very Clear" directives, the president ABANDONS following up on the first one? He never asked, where is our ambassador, is he "secure?"

Good point! If you read Obama's answer to Clark's question in total it makes absolutely NO SENSE! The "minute" would have to be AFTER the whole siege took place just from a pure logical sense according to his 2 other directives. Meaning he had no clue this attack was taking place when it was happening.

Even if you take into account this was off the cuff and he misspoke, it doesn't work! It's like saying, at 11:30pm at night is in the MORNING when I had breakfast.

He is intoning he did not know about Benghazi until AFTER the attack took place, but was trying to muddle it and I believe fudge up big time by saying "The Minute I found out," which is mind boggling, but on par with this idiots previous statements and actions!

His statement seems nonsensical. If you're watching and listening to an attack in real time, why would you ask to find out what happened? In the same way, why would you ask who the perpetrators are if they're currently engaged (go capture or kill them and you can probably find out)? He speaks as though the event was in progress, but some of the orders he claims to have issued are in the past tense. Maybe he would have an out in that “what happened” could refer to events leading to the attack, and the “who” is the organization behind the attack. Still, seems to me, he's just another lying lawyer like Clinton, but not as gifted. Also, I thought Ham said nobody asked him to send help. So either Obama’s lying, Ham's lying, somebody didn't relay the order, or somebody interpreted “secure the people” to mean “watch”.
