“The answer is the polls don’t work anymore...”
With all of those early voters having cast their ballots, why doesn’t or can’t they report to the public the ongoing tally of results?
Generally, ballots are supposed to be put into a sealed ballot box and not counted until the polls close on Election Day, but who knows if that hasn’t been corrupted by the many election officials along the way.
