Middle Class taxes high for last 20 years, tax at Clinton levels! Obama Gaffe - vanity

Posted on 10/17/2012 11:30:20 AM PDT by GraceG

Any notice that during the debate Obama said that the middle class has been unfairly burdened by higher tax rates for the last 20 years, ie. 1992 - 2012 and then went on a few sentances later to say that he would roll back taxes on the middle class to what they were during the Clinon era... well the clinton era, 1992-2000 was DURING the 20 years that Obama siad the middle class had a heavy tax burden....

ooooops!

I realized the same thing the moment he said it. It’s just the typical type of inconsistency that occurs when you lie as much as Zero does.

Most of what Obama said last night was either too vague, confusing or contradictory.

But he sure looked good saying it.

Caught that as well.

My question is this. If the “Bush tax cuts” cut rates accross the board, were “middle class” rates higher during Klinton?

When you consodier that Obama want to repeal the Bush tax cuts, plus all the new taxes in Obamacare, plus the Buffet rule, plus cap and trade, Obama is actually calling for much higher taxes than we had under Clinton.

Full of keywords designed to place good thoughts in the minds of listeners, but never coming to any actual conclusion.

I caught it too and attributed it to the nonsensical babbling that is typical of Hussein 0bama. I believe his entire aim in that statement was to invoke Bubba klinton’s name, who must be revered as a saint in dim circles.

Yes! Very much so. Contrary to what 0bama says, the “Bush Tax Cuts” actually benefited the people in the lowest tax bracket the most. They saw their tax rate cut from 15% to 10%. So on a taxable income (after deductions, etc.) of $1000, the tax paid went from $150 to $100. 33% less tax. When the rates revert in January, some poor people will see their tax bills increase by 50%

That is what I thought. So if Barry wants to go back to the Klinton tax rates, it will be a tax increase on the middle class.

Thanks for that.
