I went to WND but the popup came right behind it and froze Firefox.
Had to go into Task Manager to close it.

Must be something with your set-up or ISP. I too use Firefox and never a pop-up issue from WND. The link took me straight there.
Still some good nuggets of truth come occasionally from WND.

I’ve seen it before but only once on Firefox and not on IE. Seemed spurious but I’ll keep an eye out.

I went to WND but the popup came right behind it and froze Firefox. I end up on their site all the time because of stuff forwarded by friends. Yes, they have a stupid popup system. If you look in the upper right quadrant of their page, there is an X in a circle. That actually appears before the popup, and you can kill the popup by clicking there.

I had Firefox push an update today, and I had to kill it from Task Manager a couple times after that. It’s FF.
