Delicata Squash - I will have to try it. So far I don’t have much luck with squash or melons. The vines always get so sort of wilt.

We had a great crop of cucumbers one year, but since then it has been a struggle.

Table King Acorn has been a favorite over the years, but I usually have to get that at the farmers market. LOL.

I have same problem w/ cucumbers. I think it’s bacterial wilt that I get. Not a huge deal as neither my DH nor I really eat them, but my dog is CRAZY for them, so much so that I use them for his training treats :-)

I put a few acorn squash in the garden this year but I don’t remember variety. My first time planting them, too. I usu. go for culinary pumpkins but decided to grow squashes requiring less space. My acorns seemed a bit smallish. I get powdery mildew here every year but it never does any vine damage until late enough in the season so that it isn’t much of a concern.

Happy gardening :-)
