Writer-director Nick Cassavetes unveiled his new movie Yellow at the Toronto Film Festival this weekend and found himself defending the main characters incestuous love affair with her own brother.
[....]
Cassavetes a maverick filmmaker whose parents are the legendary actress Gena Rowlands and actor-director John Cassavetes -- confessed he could not condemn it.
I have no experience with incest, he told TheWrap in an interview on Sunday. We started thinking about that. We had heard a few stories where brothers and sisters were completely, absolutely in love with one another. You know what? This whole movie is about judgment, and lack of it, and doing what you want.
Who gives a sh*t if people judge you? he continued. Im not saying this is an absolute but in a way, if youre not having kids who gives a damn? Love who you want. Isnt that what we say? Gay marriage love who you want? If its your brother or sister its super-weird, but if you look at it, youre not hurting anybody except every single person who freaks out because youre in love with one another.

And the slide down the slippery slope continues.
I sorry, I forget which side is anti-science again?
There’s a natural repulsion to homosexual interaction. Now we’re told by the New Moralists that repulsion is repulsive, that the natural gag reflex to it is unnatural. Now we have the movement to say incest is fine and natural? Insane.
Great voice.
Real dumbs**t.
haha... never mind. Super tired. Thought he was somebody else...haha...going away now...

Apologies.
Sounds like the theme of the movie is that sex choices have consequences. Her lack of judgment (exemplified by incest) eventually led to her losing her job in disgrace (for “broom closet” sex).
Should check out the comments at Huffington Post. About 10-20% at least are completely good with this:

Coincidentally , this afternoon while having lunch , I watched a 1995 episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents on Youtube , starring Cassavetes’ father .
If it feels good do it.
