I know that Free Republic wasn't supporting Romney in the primary. Has anyone seen this yet?

If the GOP had anything to do with Ron Paul or David Duke, there would really be no hope.

Ya know, ....eff Ron Paul. I had some respect for him years ago, but you have to know when to fold em. His stance on foreign policy is a joke and no one would vote for him. If the Paul bots decide to stay home or write him in, we could have another 4 years of Obama. I guess that would show us.

I supported Gingrich and he gave it a shot and lost. Romney is the man and I will support him fully. In a democratic republic, that's the way it works. Anyone crazy enough to allow Iran to nuke up is too crazy to even be in Congress.

Feudalism isn't what any one would call a representative form of government.

Lords and serfs. They write the laws. We follow them.

Where's TJ with that fertilizer?

Were there floor votes submitted by delegates state by state for the candidates? I have had to work so did not see that. Conventions in the past made a big deal of these state by state delegate votes. Where is the video of this???? If not... where is our Republic now?????

Good riddance to Ron Paul, his supporters are free to vote for Obama again, if they can put down the bong long enough.

And “where delegates are meant to cast votes for the nominee” has been part of the convention show for some time - since the primary process became the way nominees are determined.

I’ve enjoyed seeing the new faces and new successful leaders of the GOP, excellent convention.

Here’s some more information.

http://rt.com/usa/news/ron-paul-rnc-convention-955/

http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Elections/2012/0830/Is-GOP-convention-confiscating-Ron-Paul-signs

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/29/ron-paul-convention-delegates_n_1841741.html

Apparently, the convention security technically banned “outside signs”, but only enforced that rule against Ron Paul supporters. Romney supporters got in scot free, and heckled Paul supporters during the events themselves, trying to block their signs, as seen in the video I linked to in the OP.

And here’s some more, a little tidbit more you might want to see.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77W5OKStO5s

It’s the rules change for the convention.

Watch it very carefully at 1:40.

The teleprompter had written down a scripted result of the vote for Boehner to announce. The teleprompter was pre-written for Boehner to say that the vote had been resolved in a certain manner. I don’t know if this is normal, but it seems kinda fishy.

Paul lost. Get over it. There was no conspiracy. I like most of what he stands for, but he lost. I was for Santorum, but he lost. I was for Buchanan in 96, but he lost.

Yeah, aint it ashamed!

Guess we will have to wait a little longer for Illegal drugs to be made legal, and prostitution to be legalized. And don’t forget I was really hoping for an head-in-the sand foreign policy for 4 years to allow those people we have mistreated, the Iranians, to finish their hard work on a nuclear bomb, so they can smuggle it in.

Talk about sham, that video you posted was produced by Ron Paul and pals Collective Checkup.

Wait a second... Collective?

That rings a bell...

Or perhaps Paulbots are going for the enemy of our enemy is now our friend?

It's certain that no conservatives I have ever known would believe anything from a leftist such as Code Pink member, Code Pink arrestee, PBS left-wing news hostess Amy Goodman, Democracy Now!

Yet apparently Ron Paul and his pals Collective Checkup felt it important to feature in Ron Paul's video Amy Goodman, Code Pink arrested member left-wing hostess of Democracy Now!.

Amy Goodman is also good friend of Code Pink's leader Medea Benjamin:

So what? Ron Paul is as relevant as Lyndon Larousse. He is a crack pot and every single one of his followers (include yourself) can go play in traffic for all I care.

Why should we care? We don’t. Go away.

What many fail to see is that the rule change had little to do with Ron Paul. Conservatives from MANY states were outraged over how the rules were changed, especially after they were promised the day before that they wouldn’t be.

Paul knew he had lost, but after the rule change, we have no idea which candidate will be the victim the next time. States lost their rights to vote how they wish, from now on, they’ll vote how they’re told, and that’s just not right.

The convention was a time for unity. Like it or not Romney won. Now is not the time for the Paultards childish distractions.

For all you clowns who excoriated me on my rejection of Romney.

I respectfully submit this story as proof there is no difference between the two parties.

Romney was ordained through fraud, and malfeasance from the GOPe from jump street.

there is no choice, there is no difference.

Romney=Obama, Obama=Romney.

enjoy your non-choice sheep.
