7 p.m. ET (ESPN) No. 9 South Carolina at Vanderbilt Steve Spurrier recently paid the Commodores a compliment in a way only the Ball Coach could. "They are trying to play football at Vanderbilt," he said. "They really are." Vandy should be improved on offense after a 6-7 season, but its defense can't withstand four quarters of Gamecocks star Marcus Lattimore if he's recovered from last year's knee injury.

Now you are just being silly.
Bama wears RED.
GBR!!!
looking fwd to the BST/MSU game tomorrow, should be a good one. Would love to see meetchinkin win, but thats probably unlikely...
On Saturday, I'll be over at the Coliseum cheering on the Trojans as they take on the Hawaii Rainbows in USC's season opener.
College football ... a.k.a. talk radio pre-emption (grrrr!)
In Southern California, there's no good talk radio on Saturday--mainly shows on get-rich-quick schemes and quack medicine. When football is not in season, I listen to music on Saturdays.
(I know ... I need to get a life!! :-)
GO UCONN HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beat UMass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where I live, in CT, the advice shows is that about computer issues, gardening, caring for one’s pets. Even so, I look forward to college football on Saturdays.
Weekends is a break for me from talk radio, looking forward to college football.
Ryan Griffin is my “little” cousin. I’ll be at the BC-Miami game. Blindfold please.
Auburn getting 3 against Clemson. preseason Power ratings say Auburn should win by 17. Jump on them.
Gotta love the Old Head Ball Coach.
Yep, #94 on the UConn team. :)
The Head Ball Coach finally has the a team like he had at Florida back in the day. Watch out for the Gamecocks.

ROFL
Michigan is always a paper tiger.
Climb aboard and take your seat on the Razorbacks bandwagon onward to the National Championship.
Can I get a Woo Pig Sooie?
ROLL TIDE GO BAMA
Being ‘off the grid’ we will listen to BYU play their first game of the season tonight (1160 AM, KSL), listend to local high school game last Friday and hope to be able to hear the Moore Lions play Friday (1520 AM, beautiful downtown Okalahoma City. Radio still works and does not keep you tied down like the ‘tube’. The rest of y’all enjoy the viewing while we enjoy the listening.

Go Bobcats.
Hope Gator fans enjoyed their only win of the season today.
Saban let off the gas or they could have hung 60+ on Michigan...Alabama stomped them in the trenches(elsewhere)on both sides of the ball.
Then again, on any given Sunday Alabama could probably compete with half the NFL with their size/speed...the top tier SEC in general is just in another class compared with the others when it comes to recruits...the Midwest pick'ns must be slim....though Urban may have something to say about that at OSU in the near future.
It’s sad to see how far the Gators have fallen compared to Alabama and LSU. They looked every bit as bad yesterday as they did last year.
Not only that, there is clear division on the team because of the way Muschamp mishandled the QB situation.
This is why you don’t hire head coaches with no previous head coaching experience at this level.
