And yet they censor words like ‘ass’ and ‘butt’ and ‘damn’ on old reruns like Frasier and Cheers which often destroys the meaning of the dialogue. It didn’t bother anybody two decades ago when these shows first aired. Even rock radio stations censor similar words from songs that are over 40 years old.

Thank you for bringing that up too... I would have been backhanded for saying something like ‘butt’ when I was growing up :p

Today, it seems normal to say words such as “b*tch”, “@ss”, “d@mn”, “sh*t”, on tv (I download TV series and watch a lot of newscasts on net..

Any of those words would have gotten me a big spanking and about 1 month of grounding.

Honestly, scary how the Communist Manifesto worked it’s way into our society :/

I have noticed that some of the cable channels allow certain words during the original broadcast, but they bleep those words on their web-watch-full-episodes.
