There's an Indian town in this area that's been under excavation for the last 40 years. About 15 years ago 'they' announced that it had at least 20,000 people at the time Jamestown was founded, and had been producing ceramics for several thousand years.
Then, nothing since.
I'm sure they're still digging.
The Meds been actively excavated for a long time now and they continue to make exciting discoveries. Imagine all the sites still undiscovered. We really live in a world of lost knowledge.
