It is not just the historical data they are intentionally biasing. They are even biasing the current temperature readings. The article linked below clearly demonstrates the fact that current average temperature as reported by NOAA for the continental US is being reported at least 2 F too high. They refuse to use their brand new and more accurate temperature network.
Apparently, just because it makes them fell bad about themselves.
