Honestly, I can’t complain.. 1st photos out from WW II... Title of thread has nothing about SS in it.. BUT, I believe I did mention it later.. and I could have sworn I did see some SS photos (foto)(there were so many I do not have access to now :/ it’s up to him to post them).. I have no reason to doubt him with the exception that he wouldn’t know the difference.. (personally, I think he would understand it more than me...)..

Anyway, I was really irritated at a couple of the posters that were being jerks.. some of that may have ccame out in my post to you :/ apologies

You said ‘’(he was an SS’’), you had it in parentheses. The Germans intended that it wouldn't be hard to tell the difference between an SS uniform and a Wehrmacht one because they WANTED people to know, hence the reason for the Runic symbols or ''lighting bolts(SS) as they came to be known. I don't understand the eagerness of your countrymen from so long ago, who watched as the Germans invaded Holland, killed thousands of Dutch people and yet they served their German masters by serving in the SS and the Wehrmact. Why?

“BUT, I believe I did mention it later.. and I could have sworn I did see some SS photos”

The easiest way to tell the difference is where the Reichsadler (Eagle) is on the uniform. The Wehrmacht wore them on their chests and the SS wore them on their sleeves.
