"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

What a pleasant picture. Only made better if he had finished the lawn first.

We’re doing fine. The Beagle’s back home with our daughter, but not before she scratched up some wood trim here. It’s all repairable, and our cat’s happy once again!

Vision, there’s not much news this week, nothing big anyway.

Are you having smooth sailing?

We’ve made a lot of progress! We even took the dog for a walk everyday.

BTW, that picture is cute.

Thank the Lord! I’m glad to hear it!

Yes, the Schlitz website has a bunch of “vintage” ads from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

Weather reports were calling for rain the last few days and nothing showed up. Ruined my bbq plans.

Freakin’ car broke down again but everything should be fine now. No bbq this weekend but I did make some pepper stout beef.

Bless your heart! Car troubles are something I always dread. A good-running car is such a blessing from the Lord.

What is the pepper stout beef? I’m sure it’s good!

We’re slow-smoking some pork ribs that have been soaked all day in a marinade Keith whipped up off the cuff—teriyaki sauce and other seasonings and stuff.
