...Which is roughly the penalty USC was given. The way that’s handled is gray shirting, medical redshirts, and academic casualties. The last two of players who surprisingly wouldn’t have contributed much anyway.
With D1 FB being a copycat league, and SEC schools using roster manipulation tactics like those above, the NCAA essentially pushed PSU into the new world of college FB.
Looks like the penalties are really the bowl games and the cash.
