We don't have to "play nice." I'm perfectly willing to get as mean as they want. Trust me when I tell you that there is absolutely NO LIMIT WHATSOEVER to my meanness if others want to go there.
That said, we never resort to sin, slander, lies etc. You don't need to when truth is on your side.

I think I was mainly disgusted, not so much at the unverified crap thrown around in that particular post, but that the content of the post just showed how much the bar has been lowered around here.
Posts devoid of interest, fresh news, coherence, content, reason, facts, evidence, true wit, intelligent debate or logic are tossed off at a keyboard, thrown at the screen and then the garbage post is actually defended against evil "censors" like lil ole me.
If the slavering gotcha lurkers think posts like that particular clinker are more worthy of a Pulitzer prize than a zot for blatant fakery, then the writing standards for this board are rapidly becoming lower than an earthworm's ankles in the Devil's basement.

My only point here is that he didn't have to lie, sin or become like them to do it. We can beat as ruthless as need be and still maintain our dignity - if that makes any sense.
