I have never put a bumper sticker on my car in fear of vandals.

I had a Bush-Cheney sticker I wanted to put on my car but I was working on a project in which I had to park in a lot that was shared with union trades at a project at the Pentagon.

I have to agree, sadly. Years ago when Sore Loserman was the ticket, I had a Rush Limbaugh “AlGore is a risky scheme” sticker in my back window.

Parked at the airport (Atlanta) and came back to find my car keyed all across the hood and down the driver’s side to the left rear quarter panel.

$5000 repaint, covered mostly by comprehensive insurance.

Police at the air port were kinda like “Oh well ...”

I have the same concerns when it comes to Bumper Stickers. I found a way to get around it though. You can purchase magnets the same size as bumper stickers. When you park your car they are easily removed and then replaced when you leave.

Same here.
Living in the Bay Area I would never put a bumper
sticker on the car.I know the car would be vandalized.
My daughter lives 50 miles north of me and was parked in a large parking lot.While walking back to her truck, she saw a couple in their 50-60’s ,walk up to her truck and spit on it.
Yeah,she had a Bush-Cheney sticker on the truck.
